Pendleton Street

We've been having some gorgeous weather here in Portland! However, that doesn't stop us from seeing Pendleton wool on the steets...

Mike and Ross from San Francisco wearing their Pendleton shirts.
Kert, at Sabi and Friends Vintage in St. Johns wearing her Pendleton 49r' jacket.

Megan, using her Rosa Valley clutch made by local designer Sea Echo.

Pictured here is Allison Milionis, author of Horse Sactuary (featured in previous blog post) at her book signing at the Home Store.
Allison had her jacket specially made from Scarlet Big Thunder.
Aaron, who plays steel guitar for country singer, Daniel Romano came to visit the store in his Pendleton snap shirt.

Hope you all in Portland are enjoying this early Summer weather. Be sure to stop by the Home Store if you need a nice picnic blanket or beach towel!

Horse Sanctuary Reading and Signing

Please join Pendleton Home, Saturday, May 11th for a reading and signing of Horse Sanctuary by local Portland author, Allison Milionis.

"Horse Sanctuary writer and photographer team of Allison Milionis and Karen Tweedy-Holmes set out across America to document the important work being done by equine rescue organizations and sanctuaries."  The result of this project, Horse Sanctuary, is a beautiful and touching recollection of this journey.  "Horse Sanctuary is a book for horse lovers as well as anyone who cares for the well-being of animals."

Pete Krebs Benefit & Tribute

The Home Store is hosting a First Thursday event on May 2nd!
We are auctioning off our last 'Our Lady of Guadalupe' blanket at a benefit and tribute to Pete Krebs, local musician and friend of Pendleton who is battling a rare form of cancer.

Sadly, we have discontinued this beautiful blanket that is still widely desired and admired by a number of people. All funds raised, as well a portion of the evening's sales, will go to the Jeremy Wilson Foundation on Pete's behalf.

The Jeremy Wilson Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit musicians' health and service organization dedicated to providing emergency healthcare assistance and improving the overall well-being of individual musicians and their families in times of crisis.

Three bands will be playing Rio Con Brio, Boy And Bean, and Denim Wedding starting at 6pm-9pm.

Product of the Week

One of the things I love most about working at our trade shows is finding that little needle in the haystack.  If you're not familiar with trade shows, it can be overwhelming.  For example at the Maison & Objet show in Paris, there are over 3,000 vendors.  So imagine trying to shop 3,000 little stores in about 2 days!

But yet I found it!  And that little needle is called Triumph and Disaster.  Triumph and Disaster is a new company based in New Zealand that makes men's skin care products.  "Triumph and Disater aromas evoke old fashioned values from simpler times."  And hey, we like the simpler times!

So Pendleton Home is now the only store in Portland carrying this incredible line of products.

If you would like the entire line, we have the Stash Box (above) for $164.00

Or we can break it down.
The Shearer's Soap is $12.00
Rock and Roll Face Scrub is $38.00

The pot of Old Fashioned Shave Cream is $32.00
The tube of Old Fashioned Shave Cream is $28.00
Game Face Facial Moisturizer is $54.00

If you would like to give this terrific new line a try, come see us at the Pendleton Home Store.  We just finished floor set and it is beautiful.

Or call us at 800.248.8144
We also take orders via email pendletonhomepdx@penwool.com
